One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Deadpool & Wolverine, finally hits theaters this weekend. And if you’ve already booked your ticket to see it, you’re not alone.
Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, revealed today that pre-sales for Deadpool & Wolverine have officially surpassed those for Dune: Part Two. This makes the Marvel Studios flick the top ticket pre-seller of 2024.
“The fan anticipation for Deadpool & Wolverine is incredible to see as more and more people set their plans to experience this film the way it was intended – on the big screen,” said Jerramy Hainline, EVP of Fandango. “We are thrilled to see so many fans continuing to head to the theater this summer to experience such incredible blockbusters.”
Deadpool & Wolverine will see Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprise their respective roles, teaming up to defeat a common enemy. The duo will also appear at San Diego Comic-Con Thursday, alongside director Shawn Levy and Marvel’s Kevin Feige.
