The V/H/S series is going to space. Well, it might be going to space, the next installment in the long-running anthology horror series titled V/H/S/Beyond is heading to Shudder this Halloween season with some new filmmakers on board and a sci-fi theme. It debuts on Shudder exclusively on October 4th. The new film will feature six tapes, placing horror at the forefront of a sci-fi-inspired hellscape.
Contributors include Kate Siegel directing “Stowaway”, which is written by her longtime collaborator and husband Mike Flanagan. Justin and Christian Long with the segment “Fur Babies”, Justin Martinez with “Live And Let Dive”, Virat Pal with “Dream Girl”, and Jordan Downey with ‘Stork”. There’ll also be a special presentation by Jay Cheel.
V/H/S/Beyond is produced by Josh Goldbloom, James Harris, Michael Schreiber and Brad Miska, and executive produced by Adam Boorstin. Last year’s film V/H/S/85 was Shudder and AMC+’s most-watched exclusive film premiere of the year.
