They can see you, but you can’t see them. In The Watchers, a woman finds herself stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When she finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
“I really wanted to play with fantasy and horror. The idea of figuring out what these creatures are,” said director Ishana Night Shyamalan.
“There’s a fear and a danger that’s palpable,” added star Dakota Fanning.

The feature is based on the novel by A.M. Shine, adapted for screen by Shyamalan. Fanning stars alongside Georgina Campbell (“Barbarian,” “Suspicion”), Oliver Finnegan (“Creeped Out,” “Outlander”) and Olwen Fouere (“The Northman,” “The Tourist”).

The Watchers is distributed by Warner Bros. It premieres in theaters June 7.
