Here’s the official synopsis for The Greatest Hits from Searchlight Pictures:
Harriet finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend, her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present. As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even if she could change the past, should she?
The film stars Lucy Boynton as Harriet, David Corenswet as her former boyfriend, and Justin H. Min as her new love interest. Austin Crute also stars.
Boynton’s film credits include Sing Street, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Murder on the Orient Express. Corenswet recently appeared in the horror flick Pearl, as well as the TV shows We Own This City and The Politician. Min is known for his role on Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, as well as the series Beef and the film Shortcomings.
The Greatest Hits comes from writer/director Ned Benson. Benson wrote and directed The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby films and has a story credit for Marvel’s Black Widow.
The Greatest Hits will premiere on Hulu April 12.
