Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Will Take You On An Action Packed and Emotional Ride [Non-Spoiler Review]

The best superhero team in the Universe is back, well they will be in a few days. That’s right, Prime Video’s Invincible Season 2 Part 2 release date is just about here and fans can’t hardly wait. Starring Steven Yeun, with Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons; Invincible Season 2 Part 2 will release on prime video on March 14, 2024. 

Invincible Season 2 Part 2

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.  

My Thoughts

First, I want to thank our friends over Prime Video for the early screening of Invincible Season 2 Part 2. Of course, if you have been watching this series you are going to want to watch these next four episodes. It was worth the 5-month wait. This comic book adaptation by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley; already was to me one of the best superhero series out there. Well, after watching these last 4 episodes I can say the series is even better.

We picked back up where we left off, Mark was just about beaten to death by the Viltrumit agents and Nolan was captured leaving Mark to deal with things on his own. While this story first focuses on Mark and his struggles with school and fears of becaming like his dad, you start to wonder if Mark can keep his life together. While this story abot Mark is intruiging, there is so much more going on in these four epioseds it wil be hard to keep going without spoilers.

This season is full of blood and guts just like you would expect, but with this comes an emotional toll for Invincible fans. Loyatly and friendships will be tested, and there will be losses that come unexpectly. Season 2 Part 2 will also have many unexpected reveals that will leave you wanting more.

From the animation to the storyline, everything was perfect. I give Invincible Season 2 Part 2 a perfect score! You are not going to want to miss it! I hope we don’t have to wait long for Season 3
