Fear not Barbie fans! Ryan Gosling will perform “I’m Just Ken” at the Academy Awards!

Per Variety, Gosling will sing the Academy Award-nominated song from the blockbuster film during the 96th annual ceremony on March 10 after months of speculation about whether he would do it or not.

In early February, Gosling insisted that the Academy hadn’t asked him to perform the song yet by saying, “It might be too much of a risk to have me do it. I don’t know how that would work. But I’m open to it.”

If Gosling had decided against performing, Mark Ronson, who wrote the song with Andrew Wyatt, also insisted that no one else would be chosen to do the song live at the Oscars. The Oscar-nominated songwriter stated, “No. I think if Ryan doesn’t do it then we’re not doing it.”

Gosling is also Oscar-nominated for his role in Barbie for Best Supporting Actor. The hit film also has another Oscar-nominated song in its ranks as the Billie Eilish and Finneas ballad, “What Was I Mad For?” is up for the gold. That song previously won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media over two other Barbie songs, including “I’m Just Ken” and “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa.

The Academy Awards are set to air live on ABC on March 10 starting at 4:00 PM PST.
