Ke Huy Quan (also known as Jonathan Ke Quan) is quite the prolific actor. You might recognize his name back in his child actor days when he played such roles as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Data in The Goonies (1985). However, most people these days would better know him as the oddly endearing Waymond Wang from Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022). Since then though, he hasn’t in the way of major film roles. His only major appearance period was in Loki season 2 as Ouroboros “OB” / A.D. Doug. However, that’s all going to change soon. At least, once With Love finally makes its debut.
Ke Huy Quan in With Love: Details
Deadline has just released a report detailing the next major film role of Ke Huy Quan. According to them: Quan will star in the upcoming Universal action film With Love. This will make this his next big role after the aforementioned Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Alas, details about With Love are pretty scarce for now. We know that Jonathan Eusebio (Violent Night, Obi-Wan Kenobi) will direct this action film, with David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s 87North Productions (John Wick, Bullet Train) producing. Luke Passmore will be writing from an original script by Josh Stoddard (Warrior, Kaleidoscope) and Matthew Murray. However, while we know who is writing the script, the actual contents of that script is hush-hush for now. It seems that’s a secret for now, and one that we’ll have to wait for later. Whenever Universal or 87North Productions chooses to tell us, at any rate.
And with that said, that’s all the details about With Love for now. Tune back in to THS later to find out more news about With Love and Ke Huy Quan when we hear about them.
