Five Nights at Freddy’s now isn’t just a highly successful indie horror game franchise anymore. It’s apparently now a highly successful film adaptation too. Even in spite of the overwhelmingly negative reviews critics have been giving it to boot, although to be fair, audiences seem to like it a lot more. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out Peacock‘s own stats for yourself below?

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Peacock Streaming Details

Five Nights at Freddy's key visual.
It seems this has won the support of audiences, if not the critics.

Peacock is proud to reveal that Five Nights at Freddy’s is now the biggest thing on the streaming platform. Ever since this horror film adaptation of the hit indie horror game frachise of the same name made its theatrical and streaming debut on October 27, 2023; it’s been generating some highly impressive numbers on said streaming platform. Apparently, just in the first 5 days alone, this film managed to become the most-watched film or series ever in Peacock’s history. And across all genres to boot. All of those possessed animatronics even managed to beat the previous record-holders: Halloween Ends, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Bel-Air, and The Best Man: The Final Chapters. I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty impressive for a film adaptation of an indie game franchise.

Are you curious about this film? Then you can watch Five Nights at Freddy’s for yourself only on Peacock.

The film follows Mike (Josh Hutcherson), a troubled young man caring for his 10-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio), and haunted by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother more than a decade before. Recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of Abby, Mike agrees to take a position as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems. With the aid of Vanessa, a local police officer (Elizabeth Lail), Mike’s nights at Freddy’s will lead him into unexplainable encounters with the supernatural and drag him into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare.
