Fans of Godzilla are excited about the upcoming Godzilla: Minus One release. To celebrate this release TOHO has released two new TV spots for our viewing pleasure. Godzilla: Minus One
Announced in November 2022, the film will debut in Japan on November 3, 2023 and in theaters in the US nationwide on December 1, 2023. GODZILLA MINUS ONE sees an already devastated postwar Japan facing a new threat in the form of Godzilla. This is the first domestic Japanese film since Shin Godzilla in 2016. GODZILLA MINUS ONE is written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki.
Sixty-nine years ago on November 3, 1954, Godzilla appeared on the silver screen for the first time in Japan’s Gojira. Since then, over 35 films have been made starring the enormous mutated kaiju which has resulted in a multi-billion dollar franchise and global fandom over several decades. First conceived in Japan, Godzilla quickly became a household name and has been featured in stand-alone books, comics, tv series, countless lines of consumer products, and more.
