The upcoming Limited Series, Lessons in Chemistry, for Apple TV+ is based on the novel by Bonnie Garmus. Set in the early 1950s, the story follows Elizabeth Zott (Brie Larson). Elizabeth is a brilliant chemist forced to become a television chef when she finds herself a young, single mother. So, Elizabeth starts to use her show to empower women and challenge the patriarchal society she lives in. She becomes a feminist icon and inspires a generation of women to follow their dreams.

Set in the early 1950s, “Lessons in Chemistry” follows Elizabeth Zott ( Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society. Producing Lessons in Chemistry is Apple TV+ by Apple Studios. The showrunner is Seven-time Emmy Award-nominee Lee Eisenberg. Executive Producing along with Larson is Academy Award-nominee Susannah Grant. Michael Costigan and Jason Bateman are also executive producers for Aggregate Films. Directing the series Sarah Adina Smith (Hanna). Natalie Sandy executive produces through Piece of Work Entertainment alongside Eisenberg. Louise Shore also serves as executive producer.

Lessons in Chemistry will make its global debut on Friday, October 13, 2023, on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes. Then, new episodes will debut weekly, every Friday through November 24, 2023.
