The Fresh Prince continues to reign over at Peacock. Bel-Air officially landed a season 3 renewal.
Season 2 of the drama is currently airing weekly episodes on Peacock. When the series debuted last year, it did so as the platform’s most-watched original premiere. Now, season 2 of Bel-Air has also become Peacock’s most-watched original sophomore series.
Set in modern-day Los Angeles, the one-hour drama series reimagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. As Will’s two worlds collide, he reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.
Season two of Bel-Air picks up with Will at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust broken at the end of last season.
The series features an ensemble cast led by Jabari Banks as Will. The show also stars Adrian Holmes (Phillip Banks), Cassandra Freeman (Vivian Banks), Olly Sholotan (Carlton Banks), Coco Jones (Hilary Banks), Akira Akbar (Ashley Banks), Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey), Jordan L. Jones (Jazz), and Simone Joy Jones (Lisa).
The show comes from showrunner, writer, and executive producer Carla Banks Waddles.
New episodes of Bel-Air premiere Thursdays on Peacock. The season 2 finale will debut April 27.
