From Abbott Elementary to Harley Quinn, Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams are bringing the romance. The actors will lend their voices to the upcoming animated special, Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day.
Williams and Brunson will voice Hawkman and Hawkgirl in a brief cameo during the special.
“As a Harley Quinn fan, I’m thrilled to lend my voice to the special and to team up with my Abbott Elementary creative partners, Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker and co-star Tyler James Williams for this fun episode,” Brunson said.
Halpern and Schumacker executive produce both Abbott Elementary on ABC and Harley Quinn on HBO Max.
“Harley Quinn is such a brilliant series and it is an honor to lend my voice to this special. I think the cameo is something both Abbott Elementary and DC fans will enjoy,” added Williams.
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special will see Harley and Ivy celebrating their very first Valentine’s Day together, while also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year. The special falls between the adult animated series’ third and fourth seasons.
Brunson and Williams join the show’s regular voice cast for the special, including Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, and Matt Oberg.
Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special premieres on HBO Max February 9.
Abbott Elementary fans can also catch a little romance between Brunson’s Janine and Williams’ Gregory (we assume) during this week’s Valentine’s Day episode. Catch it on ABC Wednesday, February 8 at 9pm.
