Can Netflix make live-action anime happen? Well, they’re certainly going to keep trying. The streamer’s next big project is a live-action adaptation of One Piece.

The series draws on one of the most popular manga titles of all time, which already found success as an anime. It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they search for the ultimate treasure (“One Piece”).

Today, Netflix revealed a first look at the live-action series with a new poster for One Piece. Check it out below:

The poster shows the main cast from behind, standing in front of their ship illuminated by the sun. You can spot Iñaki Godoy as Luffy in his signature straw hat and red vest in the center. On either side we see his main crew, including Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji).

The series comes from showrunner, writer, and executive producer Steven Maeda (Lost). Matt Owens (Luke Cage) also writes and executive produces.

The original One Piece manga comes from Eiichiro Oda. However, the Netflix series’ connection to the manga (and anime) remains a bit up in the air. The creative team previously said  they intend the show to “stand out on its own and not just be a carbon copy of the anime.” So, as for the actual similarities between the manga, anime, and live-action series, we’ll just have to wait and see.

One Piece premieres on Netflix later this year.
