It’s not vacation. It’s quarantine. And one of these guests wasn’t invited. Get ready for Sick, a new slasher horror flick set during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic steadily brings the world to a halt, Parker and her best friend Miri decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone—or so they think.
Check out the trailer below.
The trailer looks about like you’d expect based on the movie’s premise. We see a shadowy figure sneaking into the house, and later hunting down its inhabitants. Throw in some ominous texts, a few big knives, and an unhelpful passer-by for good measure.
Sick comes from writers Kevin Williamson (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer) and Katelyn Crabb. John Hyams (Alone) directs. The movie stars Gideon Adlon (Blockers, The Craft: Legacy), Bethlehem Million (And Just Like That), Marc Menchaca (The Outsider, Ozark), and Jane Adams (Twin Peaks, Poltergeist, Hacks).

Sick premieres on Peacock January 13.
