Lucasfilm’s upcoming Willow series had a lot for fans at D23 Expo! Warwick Davis himself took the stage to give the audience a look at the show, including a new poster and a new trailer. Check them out below.

Christian Slater was also revealed to have a role in Willow. However, specifics about his involvement in the series have not yet been revealed.

The upcoming Disney+ fantasy series is based on the 1988 feature film of the same name. Disney describes the project as “an epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty.”

Willow begins with an aspiring magician from a Nelwyn village and an infant girl destined to unite the realms, who together helped destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness. Now, in a magical world where brownies, sorcerers, trolls, and other mystical creatures flourish, the adventure continues, as an unlikely group of heroes set off on a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home, where they must face their inner demons and come together to save their world.

The series will see Warwick Davis reprise his original film role, with Ruby Cruz taking on the role of Princess Kit. Erin Kellyman will play her kidnapped twin brother. The series also stars Amar Chadha-Patel, Ellie Bamber, Tony Revolori, and Dempsey Bryk.

Willow premieres exclusively on Disney+ November 30.
