As it turns out, that NSFW trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was so popular, that they made an English dub version of it. Don’t believe me? Then check it out below:
An English Dub That’s Actually Good?!
The official Cyberpunk 2077 YouTube channel has just posted an English dub version of their Cyberpunk: Edgerunners NSFW trailer. As you might expect, the said NSFW trailer is identical to the original Japanese version (complete with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9) save for the English dubbing. Said English dubbing is…actually surprisingly good. The voices feel spot on with the characters and animation and feel appropriate for the situations. Sure, they’re just a brief, preliminary look at the English dubbing at the moment. However, what little I see does give me hope that this English dub is going to be one of the good ones. We’ll just have to wait and see if the anime holds up when it makes its debut.
Fortunately, we won’t have long to wait for that to happen. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will make its global debut on September 13, 2022. As of this writing, that’s only a week away. You definitely won’t have long to wait to see if this anime in general lives up to Cyberpunk 2077. Of course, it’s also a Netflix exclusive, so you’re going to have to shell out money for a Netflix account if you want to watch this anime. If you’re a fan of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red, or even Studio Trigger though; then this anime might be worth the money.

The English dub fun isn’t over yet though. That same NSFW trailer also has a list of the voice cast for the English dub of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners right in the video description. Some of the names might look familiar to you, especially to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans (at least, those who watch the English dub version of that anime instead of the English sub with the original Japanese voices) and The Mandalorian fans.
