Last year we got Halloween 1-5 in 4K UHD from Scream Factory. They were one of the highest-selling releases of the year. Getting the first five only means that the next films in the series are coming. Today, Scream Factory announced a second set, Halloween 4K Collection (1995-2002). The new set gives us Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (theatrical and Producer’s Cut), Halloween H20, and Halloween Resurrection. This new set releases on October 4th, 2022.

Halloween is one of the longest-running and most storied franchises in horror history, so Scream Factory upgrading the series in beautiful 4K quality is a huge deal. These three films (really four, because the Producer’s Cut is so different from the theatrical) aren’t part of the brightest section of the series, but they have merits. They see the final performance in Donald Pleasence‘s career in The Curse of Michael Myers, a new beginning for Michael and Laurie Strode in H20, and well, Resurrection is at least fun to watch for a laugh.

Also, we get brand new art for each release and a special edition box to house all of them.
