Some may remember back in May during Star Wars Celebration it was announced that fans would have the opportunity to vote for the next Legacy Lightsaber hilt. Fans got to vote from these hilts, Jocasta Nu, Sifo-Dyas, Quinlan Vos, Depa Billaba, Barriss Offee, or Kanan Jarrus. Well, today Disney Parks revealed the winning hilt, and it is the hilt of Padawan Caleb Dume. You can check out the official details of the hilt below from Disney Parks Blog.

Padawan Caleb Dume Will Be The Next Legacy Lightsaber Hilt

Back in May during Star Wars Celebration, we announced the opportunity to vote for the next Legacy Lightsaber Hilt right here on the blog. We’ve tallied the results and the wait is finally over! You answered the call, and the Legacy Lightsaber Hilt with the winning vote was… *drumroll please*… Padawan Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus)!

Once known by the name Caleb Dume, Kanan Jarrus survived the Emperor’s purge, going underground for years and hiding the truth about who he really was. Carrying a lightsaber openly in the age of the Empire would have given away his affiliation as a Jedi, so he kept his lightsaber in pieces on his belt only to be assembled when necessary. In an overwhelming majority, more than half of you voted for Kanan’s Lightsaber to be added to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and lucky for us he’s happy to oblige your request.
