Everyone’s favorite Staten Island vampire roommates will return! FX just renewed What We Do In The Shadows for not just one, but two additional seasons.

The renewal comes before the fourth season of the vampire comedy even airs on July 12. So, it definitely looks like FX is leaning into supporting this show.

“There’s a lot of life left in our favorite vampires from Staten Island, and FX couldn’t be more thrilled to commit to two additional seasons of this phenomenal series,” said Nick Grad, President of Original Programming at FX Entertainment. “What We Do in the Shadows excels on every level, from the brilliant cast and surprising guest stars to the producers, writers, directors and crew. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy Season 4, knowing that the next two are on the way.”

Based on the 2014 feature film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, What We Do in the Shadows documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) – who later discovers he’s actually a descendent from a long line of vampire hunters.

The first two seasons of the series pulled in 10 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series. Season 3 recently nabbed three Critics’ Choice Award noms, including Best Comedy Series.

The first three seasons are available to stream on Hulu now in the US. What We Do In The Shadows will also begin streaming internationally on Star+ soon.

Season 4 premieres Tuesday, July 12 at 10pm EST on FX. Episodes drop the following day on Hulu.
