You know how Netflix is busy working on a live-action version of the One Piece anime and manga by Eiichiro Oda? Well, it seems that they’re building up hype for it by releasing a new first look clip that shows off the hard work they did on all the sets. And to be fair, they’re most impressive. Check out the clip below:

Netflix’s One Piece: First Look Clip

Wow, they actually build Baratie? And she actually looks gorgeous? Well, color me hyped.

Actor Iñaki Godoy and showrunners Steven Maeda and Matt Owens have introduced this One Piece clip on YouTube, showing off the intricate and gorgeous sets they’ll be using for the series when it comes out on Netflix. Unfortunately, all the clip tells us is that this will be a Netflix exclusive. However, that’s obvious enough that virtually everyone who is even vaguely aware of Netflix would know of it.

What this One Piece clip doesn’t show us is a release date though. Heck, there’s not even a “Coming Soon” message, which suggests that it will be a while before we’ll get to see this live-action adaptation. Still, Iñaki Godoy shows off some pretty high energy during the clip. It’ll be interesting to see him play Monkey D. Luffy…whenever that will be.
