Star Wars Celebration is a month away and there have been some amazing guests revealed. With guests like Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, Daniel Logan, Dee Bradley Baker, Kelly Marie Tran, Ewan, McGregor, and many others; there was really only one way to make this list even better and that would have been the addition of Mark Hamill. Ever since the announcement of Celebration 2022 fans have been asking if Haill was going to attend. Well, today it looks as if we got that answer in a tweet from Mark Hamill.

“Sorry I won’t be able to join you this year at #StarWarsCelebration. I am out of the country filming Mike Flanagan’s #TheFallOfTheHouseOfUsher until early July. Have a wonderful time! I’ll be with you in spirit while my actual body will be elsewhere.”

So as you can see it looks like fans will once again have to wait to see if Mark Hamill will appear at Celebration in the future. Im sure this disappoints a lot of fans, especially after the appearance of Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. But also remember Hamill is the king of trolling and maybe, just maybe he will make a surprise appearance. We can only hope, right?

Star Wars Celebration will take place in Anaheim May 26 – 29.

Were you hoping to see Mark Hamill at Star Wars Celebration? Do you think he still might make an appearance? Also, who else do you hope to see at the convention? That Hashtag Show wants to hear from you.
