ScreamBox, now powered by BloodyDisgusting, has done something that many horror fans didn’t think was possible, they’ve acquired the full 44 episodes of Freddy’s Nightmares. The streaming service has access to all 44 episodes of the Nightmare on Elm Street spin-off anthology series from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

The series premieres on the service on February 15th, 2022, and is the first time ever that it’s on a subscription streaming service. In other news, they’re also releasing the George A. Romero directed feature, Knightriders in March. That film stars Tom Savini and Ed Harris.

The real jewel is Freddy’s Nightmares though. The anthology series starring Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger aired from 1988 to 1990. Each episode told a different story of horror based around Elm Street. Some of the episodes connect to the original series, such as the excellent pilot “No More Mr. Nice Guy” directed by Tobe Hooper. For fans of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, this is a must-watch.

Some major television and film stars got their start on the series like Brad Pitt, Lori Petty, John Cameron Mitchell, and Mariska Hargitay. The show also recruited other masters of horror like Mick Garris, William Malone, and Tom McLoughlin to direct episodes.

ScreamBox is the home of horror for streaming, it’s available on iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast, and their website, screambox.com.
