Many-a-Batman have graced our screens over the years, but soon a new Caped Crusader era dawns.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman starring Robert Pattinson arrives in early 2022. It’s a film Warner Bros. has been working on for a while now, but fans will get to take a closer look at the DC feature very soon. The Batman will drop a new trailer October 16 during DC FanDome.
Ahead of the official debut this Saturday, we just got a teaser for the trailer on social media. The quick clip features the same red-and-black imagery matching the original promo photos of Pattinson as Batman. But instead of the Bat himself, we see the Bat Signal flash into the sky. Accompanying the iconic visual is a simple message: “It’s not just a signal. It’s a warning.”
Check out the teaser yourself below.
Like so many films, The Batman suffered from COVID-related delays. So much so, in fact, that the first trailer for the film premiered during DC FanDome 2020, more than a full year ago.
The Batman will premiere March 4, 2022. In addition to Pattinson, the film stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, and Paul Dano as Riddler.
