That’s hot… literally. Please be careful around the stovetop, Paris!

If you’re tired of cooking shows that only showcase expert chefs, you’re in luck. Netflix is going to give you the opportunity to dive into the kitchen of a… less-than-expert chef. Yes, Paris Hilton will have her own cooking show, aptly named Cooking with Paris.

I’d say more, but I think this trailer speaks for itself.

Here’s the official synopsis from Netflix:

Paris Hilton can cook…kind of. And she’s turning the traditional cooking show upside down. She’s not a trained chef and she’s not trying to be. With the help of her celebrity friends, she navigates new ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. Inspired by her viral YouTube video, Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished table spread – and she might actually learn her way around the kitchen.

Cooking with Paris will include six half-hour episodes, each featuring a different guest to join Hilton in the kitchen. Guest stars include Kim Kardashian West, Demi Lovato, Nikki Glaser, Saweetie, Lele Pons, and Nicky & Kathy Hilton.

One of the world’s most ubiquitous public figures, Hilton has been a part of mainstream media for decades now, wearing a number of hats: Hilton hotel chain heiress and socialite; model and reality TV star (The Simple Life); and former singer and current successful DJ, among other roles. Cooking, though, seems like a new venture.

The Netflix series was inspired by a viral YouTube video posted on Hilton’s own channel January 2020, also titled “Cooking with Paris.” Since then, it’s accumulated over 5 million views. You can watch the original video below:

If you’re ready to get into the kitchen, you don’t have long to wait. Cooking with Paris premieres on Netflix August 4.
