Deck the ‘Crest with boughs of holly, fa la la la la, la la, la la! That’s right; LEGO continues its decade-long tradition of the Star Wars Advent Calendar with none other than The Mandalorian for 2021. The toy brick company just revealed this year’s holiday offering on starwars.com. This marks a departure from past themes that spanned the entire franchise. The 2021 calendar, conversely, will focus exclusively on Lucasfilm’s flagship, Disney+ Star Wars series. Collectors and fans are sure to love all the min-sets this has to offer!

So what exactly does this year’s Star Wars Advent Calendar include? For starters, it comes with seven mini figures. Featured are, of course, LEGO versions of the Mandalorian and Grogu (complete with scarf and holiday sweater, respectively). You’ll also get a Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper, Tusken Raider, IG-11, and even an IT-O Interrogator Droid (seen briefly in Season 1).

The holiday set comes with an interesting collection of vehicles, too. The Razor Crest is a no-brainer. Likewise is Moff Gideon’s Imperial Light Cruiser. Add in an X-wing, TIE Fighter, Troop Transport, and the Slave-I (no, we are not calling it “Boba Fett’s Starship“), and the Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2021 provides days of ship-building fun! With twenty-five days of LEGO toys to construct, there will be plenty of other fun items, too. Want to launch snowballs at Stormtroopers, or put Grogu in his hoverpram? You can!

LEGO Star Wars designer Jason Zapantis had this to say about the 2021 calendar:

“We look to pick a variety of builds balancing between the iconic elements from the show, recognizable favorites, and offering up some unique builds. Of course, we always have our Christmas-themed minifigures/modified builds each year. Something different for this year is that we have a buildable speeder bike that can be used by the Scout Trooper with room to attach Grogu in his holder on the back…. There’s a lot of opportunity to create your own little stories with the builds.”
