The incomparable Mr. Wonderful has passed away at the age of 71. His career had highlights in the WWF and WCW. He became a star in the WWF during the 1980s with manager Bobby Heenan by his side. He main evented the first Wrestlemania and Survivor Series. Following this, Orndorff took his talents to WCW in 1988 winning multiple championships in that promotion as well.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and the National Wrestling Alliance Hall of Fame in 2009. His late stage career saw him training the stars of tomorrow as a coach.
