Another day, another casting announcement for Knives Out 2. Today, Jessica Henwick joins the cast.
Henwick previously held a breakout role in the Netflix/Marvel series Iron Fist. She will appear in the fourth installment of the Matrix series later this year. Henwick is currently filming The Gray Man with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.
If you’ve been following casting news for Knives Out 2, what we have to say next won’t surprise you. No details about Henwick’s character have been released. We still don’t know the exact plot of Rian Johnson’s sequel flick. (Besides the fact that Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc, solving another mystery.)
Henwick joins a star-studded cast, including the likes of Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odum Jr., Janelle Monae, Kate Hudson, and more.
Knives Out 2 plans to begin production this summer. Thanks to a deal with Netflix, the sequel will eventually debut on the streaming platform.
