The Sandman is a new dark fantasy series from Netflix based on the best-selling comic series from Neil Gaiman. In the video above, Gaiman takes us on a journey on the set of the show. It’s currently in production. The logline for the show goes like this:

A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven, The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.

The cast for the show is humongous, it includes: Mason Alexander Park, Vivienne Acheampong, Tom Sturridge, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Donna Preston, Gwendoline Christie, Sandra James-Young, Razane Jammal, Stephen Fry, Joely Richardson, Niamh Walsh, David Thewlis, Kyo Ra, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Charles Dance, Boyd Holbrook, Jenna Coleman, and Patton Oswalt.

Allan Heinberg and David S. Goyer are the writers and executive producers on the series.
