Grand Theft Auto 5 is making it’s way to a third generation of consoles. This November 11th, you’ll be able to re-live one of the biggest video games of all-time on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. PS5 users are getting GTA Online for free the first three months. Xbox Series X/S players will have to buy a standalone version or the full version of GTA 5.
While details are scarce about what new content is getting added to the game, you can bet on more than graphical updates. There’s some long rumored single-player DLC for the game that we could get. GTA Online is getting some updates this summer before the release of the full-on next-gen update.
This marks the third generation that the game is coming out on. It started in 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. After that, it went to the Xbox One and PS4 in 2014. Following that, it finally made it’s way to PC in 2015. This time around, the power of the next-gen consoles are on full display. There might not be a better game to kick off this generation than this one. Either way, fans are clamoring for a GTA 6. That game might not be coming anytime soon, but we have this to tide us over.
So, what do you think of Grand Theft Auto 5 making it’s way to next-gen?
