Depending on what park you go to, Disneyland Resort or DisneyWorld, you might have a different mask mandate. Disneyland, however, is following the current guidelines in place for the State of California.
The statement is addressed from a Disney spokesperson:
“Disneyland Resort’s current guidelines, which require all guests (ages 2+) and CMs to wear face coverings, remain in effect. Policies will be evaluated in accordance with state and local recommendations as soon as guidance is released.”
California is slowly on the road to recovery, but it still has the state wide mask mandate. Unlike Florida, which lifted their policy. Governor Gavin Newsom has stated from this week that new guidelines and regulations may come soon. As soon as June 15th according to CBS Sacramento.
Disneyland is still “for now at least” is restricted to California residents, but signs are looking positive ahead for out of state visitors. A quick reminder for California residents for want to go to the parks, you must have a theme park ticket, reservation, and you “might be asked” for proof of your residency. Parking hopping is available after 1pm to either park, if you have a reservation for either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure.
