It’s time for another episode of Streaming Wars! Each week our hosts Yael Tygiel and Chelsea Schwartz sit down to discuss the biggest and best titles headed to streaming.
With so many streaming services out there, it can be hard to keep track of what to watch. We’ll keep you in the loop as we crown a new winning service each week.
In this week’s episode, we’re covering which streaming service has the best Valentine’s Day content, whether you’re in the mood for a classic rom-com, a story about family, or a girl-power flick to watch with your besties.
Netflix has an original for everything, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to turn on Finding Ohana or the latest To All The Boys movie. Amazon’s interface frustrates us, but we’re loving access to True Lies, A Simple Favor, and Sylvie’s Love. HBO Max counters with the most impressive and easy to access Valentine’s collection, and offers great hits like Birds of Prey, The Notebook, You’ve Got Mail, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Love & Basketball. Disney+ also proves to be a rom-com MVP with 10 Things I Hate About You, While You Were Sleeping, The Princess Diaries, and The Princess Bride. Apple TV+ doesn’t care about love, we threaten the upcoming Paramount+, and then we take away a bunch of points for all the great Valentine’s Day movies NOT available on streaming platforms.
Check out all this and more in the latest episode of Streaming Wars!
We’re skipping our next streaming challenge because we’re not filming next week. But you can find out what we thought about last week’s challenge show, HBO Max’s Haute Dog, in this week’s episode.
See you in two weeks, and until then, happy streaming!
