Netflix tweeted out the cast for The Devil All the Time, and it’s definitely going to be one to watch.

The psychological thriller features talent from horror stars to superheroes. The lineup includes Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Robert Pattinson, Haley Bennett, Mia Wasikowska, Eliza Scanlen, Harry Melling, and Pokey LaFarge.

Based on the book by Donald Ray Pollock, The Devil All the Time takes place between World War II and the Vietnam War. It follows several characters who have been damaged by the effects of war in different ways. The ensemble includes a disturbed war veteran, a serial killer couple, and a false preacher.

Yeah, this is going to be a wild one.

The Devil All the Time hits Netflix September 16.

The ‘heroic’ lineup was almost different

In an earlier announcement, Chris Evans was cast in The Devil All the Time. Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts with other projects forced him to drop out. Captain America himself recommended his former co-star Sebastian Stan take his place.

Those Marvel connections run deep, huh?

Netflix brings the content

With the vast majority of film and TV production delayed due to COVID-19, Netflix has been attempting to fill the void with a number of projects.

The streamer recently released Charlize Theron-led blockbuster The Old Guard. The action flick garnered solidly positive reviews and quickly jumped to the #1 most streamed movie slot.
