Ahead of its final season, Vikings will bring fans together for a special Comic-Con@Home panel.
Vikings: A Look Back with The Lothbroks will release Friday, July 24 at 11am PST. TV Guide Magazine Senior Writer Kate Hahn will moderate.
Vikings previously went all-out for San Diego Comic-Con with unique fan experiences. A Viking Funeral paraded through the Gaslamp District. Fans could train in axe throwing and have their fate foretold by The Seer. They could even ride in a Viking longship.
With COVID-19 forcing Comic-Con events to go digital this year, these kinds of experiences are no longer possible. However, fans can still hear from their favorite actors and glimpse some exclusive footage during the panel.
Series showrunner, writer, and executive producer Michael Hirst will participate, along with actors Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alex Ludwig (Bjorn Ironside), Clive Standen (Rollo) and Jordan Patrick Smith (Ubbe). They will discuss their favorite moments from the series and what makes Vikings so unique.
Fans will also be treated to an exclusive clip from the second half of the sixth and final season. The final episodes will premiere this fall.
Vikings follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, an actual historical figure. While the History Channel series ends this year, Netflix has ordered a spinoff. Vikings: Valhalla picks up 100 years after the original series.
