The good news is few and far between these days, but today has brought us some sunshine! The Wonders, from the 90s hit That Thing You Do!, will be reuniting Friday, April 17th at 4 PM PST/7 PM EST. So get ready, Little Wild Ones, for the ultimate fan watch party!
According to a social media post by cast member Ethan Embry, in efforts to raise money for MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, and in honor of Adam Schlesinger who wrote and recorded the Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated title song (who sadly passed away due to the virus), the band is throwing a community watch party.

That Thing You Do! marked the writing/directorial debut of actor Tom Hanks. Inspired by his love of The Beatles and other 60s musical acts, the film follows the rise and fall of the fictional one-hit-wonder band, The Wonders.
It’s unknown if Tom Hanks, writer/director of the film, will be in attendance; he and his wife, Rita Wilson, are currently home and recovering from COVID-19. After learning of Adam’s passing, Tom tweeted:
