The Creative Team Behind Alienated #1
BOOM! Studios released a first look at their latest comic, Alienated #1 being released on February 12, 2020. The new series is written by Simon Spurrier of John Constantine: Hellblazer, Six Gun Gorilla and Coda fame. Art is being provided by Chris Wildgoose who is known for his work on Batgirl and Batman: Nightwalker. Colorist André May and letterer Jim Campbell fill out the creative team for a coming-of-age story about having the power needed to change the world, but not being ready to use this power.
What Alienated is about
The Alienated series will feature three teenage outcasts. Each teenager being an outcast in a different way. They come upon an alien being as it’s being born. A bond is formed by the three teens as they keep the secret of this being and it’s unearthly powers. However, it doesn’t take long for the teens to discover this cute little creature isn’t so cute. The creature is a predator and it will need to find its prey soon.
The teens try to take care of this creature, be responsible with it and have the purest of intentions, at first. However, as the old saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. When the teens’ youth starts to take over the teens begin to use it to solve small town jealousies, internal rivalries and finally sending them into a downward spiral of their own making.
