Star Wars is now getting into audio dramas, and the first character of choice is: Count Dooku.

Story Details for Dooku: Jedi Lost

The newest Star Wars audio drama, titled Star Wars Dooku: Jedi Lost, will take Star Wars fans into the early days of Jedi Master Dooku. This particular story is going to be told through the eyes of his apprentice, Asajj Ventress.

Dooku: Jedi Lost will also give us a glimpse of the team-up between Dooku and his then-padawan Qui-Gon Jinn. If you own Claudia Gray’s Master and Apprentice novel, as C|Net notes, this will be the perfect companion to it.

While this is an audio drama about Dooku, it is every bit Star Wars. The story reveals the early days of what he did just before he takes on the title of “Count”. This also shows what had happened before he kicked off the galactic conflict in Episode II.

For the fans of Queen’s Shadow, Master & Apprentice, or even Thrawn: Alliances, this is another great addition to the massive collection of Star Wars stories. And it features one of the best Sith Lords in Star Wars canon.

This story sounds like it will be one that all Star Wars fans, both new and old will listen to and enjoy as well. Likewise, the story discusses what happened before the Galactic Conflict before Episode II. Thus it’s going to add on to the Star Wars canon.

What This Means For Canon

Beyond all of that, remember that this is the first Star Wars audio drama. So fans are going to want to listen to this and feel like they are in the world of Star Wars. More than that, it’s told from the point of view of Dooku’s apprentice, Ventress. That means the fans will get a real first-person experience with this.
