One thing that immediately got us excited about Power Rangers adapting Go-Buster was the possible team-up that could be adapted for the Power Rangers fans. In the Super Sentai there was a classic team-up that was called, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters: The Great Dinosaur Battle! Farewell, Our Eternal Friends. In Power Rangers that would have included the Dino Charge, Dino Thunder, and MMPR team. Man, now that would be something. But wait… is it really that far off?
Currently some of the past Dino Charge Rangers have been making their way to New Zealand recently which raised some suspicion that this could actually be happening. Most fans know that the Black Dino Charge Ranger, Chase, played by James Davies is already a New Zealand native, but two of his cast members have recently posted on social media that they are there also. Brennan Mejia has recently been posting to Instagram from New Zealand, wearing his classic red vest. There’s also a rumor that Yoshi Sudarso has also been spotted out there.
Recently THS had the new Gold Ranger from Power Rangers Beast Morphers, Abraham Rodriguez on their show, the Ranger Wrap Up. When we brought up the team-up question this is what Abraham had to say.
THS: There’s a lot of former Rangers going out to New Zealand. I’ve seen Breenan Mejia. I’ve seen Yoshi Sudarso. Is there a connection here or am I just reading too much into this?
Abraham Rodriguez: I think they loved New Zealand when they were here so much that they just want to come back and visit.
THS: Great answer. Way to go…
Abraham Rodriguez: (Laughs)
This far from confirms a team-up but us at THS have info that we’ll be dropping later in the week about the same subject matter that may be proof after all.
