Legends of Tomorrow is going deep into magical creatures this season through Matt Ryan’s John Constantine in Season 4. As the season is deep into production in Vancouver, Canada, That Hashtag Show has learned of a new recurring character that is currently being cast. But this one is a bit different from previous characters we have reported on.

The time-traveling DC series is currently looking to cast a Wolf Creature, as they are looking for a male or female in their late 20-40s of any ethnicity to play this recurring guest character. Whoever gets cast would have a series regular option for a potential fifth season. Described as a massively strong and formidable athlete, this actor is the opposite of their character in their daily life. Though the so-called monster is aggressive and frightening, they manage to ally tentatively with the Waverider crew.

This alter ego is always looking for a fight and cruising for a bruising, in the Legends’ best interest. Despite its intelligent, the Wolf Creature tends to look at things through black and white while also lacking social skills. His/her relationship with the Legends will be quite an uneasy one. The Wolf Creature tends to be loyal to those that they consider their tribe. They can also be impulsive and act quite selfishly from time to time, but that’s because of their natural animal instincts. They transform into this Wolf Creature when they are angry or experiencing emotional pain or turmoil.

While this is most likely an originally created character, some may wonder…could this be based on a DC Comics character? Despite not many of them, there are a few potential options that Wolf Creature may be from the DC Universe. To begin with, we have Anthony Lupus, who after a treatment by Professor Achilles Milo, has the ability to turn into a werewolf. Another option is Warren Griffith, a nationalistic American soldier who fought in WWII, in the Flashpoint timeline. He volunteered in an experiment by Doctor Myron Mazursky whos experiment caused him to become a werewolf-soldier who became part of Creature Commandos.
