LA Comic Con returns this fall, and the pop culture event has already named a major headliner: Ewan McGregor.
McGregor will appear at LA Comic Con October 5 and 6 for a panel, photographs, and autograph signings. The actor is known for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars franchise. His extended work also includes roles in the musical Moulin Rouge!, DC’s Birds of Prey, Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep, Disney’s Christopher Robin and live-action Beauty and the Beast, and the Fargo TV series, among many other projects.
“L.A. Comic Con loves the challenge that the fans give us each year to make the next show bigger, broader and more diverse, and to bring them guests and experiences they’ve never had before,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of LA Comic Con parent company CEI. “We’re really excited to do that again for them in 2024! As you can see from the exciting announcement about Ewan McGregor, we really went after talent who have been on the Fans’ “Top 5 most requested guest” list for years, and we’re combining that with new media and sponsor activations, and popular gaming tournaments, to provide Los Angeles’ fans with their best experience in our 14-year history.”
Additional guests for the event will be announced in the months to come.
