The 5 WrestleMania 41 Matches I Am The Most Excited About [A Nerdy Vet Top 5]

WrestleMania 41 is right around the corner, and WWE fans can not wait! This year we are going to have some amazing matches. Can Cody Rhodes defend the belt against Cena? Will Jay Uso avenge his brother and take down the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther? Can Stratton hold on the the Women’s Championship Belt against Flair? I can just keep going on going with all the amazing matches slated for Wrestlemania 41. But to save some time, I’m going to pick out the 5 matches I’m the most excited about and pick my winners as well.

5. Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Finn Bálor vs. Dominik Mysterio At WrestleMania 41

The more the better, right? I can not wait to see Bron Breakker, Penta, Finn Bálor, and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio battle it out for the Intercontinental Championship. Breakker has already defeated all three of these opponents in the past, but it is going to be a little harder to retain the title when everyone is going for it at once. Penta, who has not been pinned or submitted since arriving in the WWE, is making his first WrestleMania appearance. Then we have Finn Bálor and Dirty Dom, who are both members of The Judgement Day. Could this be the match that breaks their relationship, causing Bálor to leave The Judgement Day? There have been a lot of hints on past shows that could support this.

My Pick: Penta wins the Intercontinental Championship.

4. Women’s World Champion IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley

Again, the more the better, right? This Triple Threat Match will be for the Women’s World Championship and will feature IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley. The current World Champion, IYO SKY is starting to show that she is tired of Ripley and Belair and is ready to retain her title that she took from Ripley. But Ripley and Belair are coming into this match with a chip on their shoulders. Ripley claims that Belair caused her to lose the title, while Belair feels like Ripley hasn’t earned a chance to fight for the title. No matter what the outcome is, this will be an interesting match.

3. Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano

Rey Mysterio has had enough! Tired of the disrespect that El Grande Americano has been showing to the LWO, Mysterio has challenged El Grande Americano to a match at WrestleMania. El Grande Americano claims to be the greatest luchador of all time, but now he has to go through Mysterio. Can El Grande Americano win this one with talent or will he use his head again to get the win? No matter what happens, this should be a high-flying no hold bars match.

My Pick: Rey Mysterio wins and unmasks El Grande Americano

2. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

This match could easily be number one but it just missed out for the top spot for me. The Undisputed WWE Champion will defend his title against the heel, the sellout, John Cena. Cena, who won the Elimination Chamber, shocked WEE fans by teaming up with The Rock and turning on Cody Rhodes. At first, I didn’t know what to think about this heel turn for Cena, but as the weeks go on I’m loving the feud between him and Rhodes. Can Cena win his 17th world title, or will Rhodes hold onto the belt a little longer? I also think we will get a few surprises in this match, like maybe an appearance of a WWE legend.

1. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins – WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat Match

Here it is, my number 1 match of WrestleMania 41. This one I might be a little biased with since CM Punk is one of my favorite wrestlers. But come on, how awesome is this Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins? The hatred right now between all three is unreal. Punk eliminated both Rollins and Reigns during the Royal Rumble, but it won’t be as easy this time with only three of them in the ring. Rollins has had his shots at CM Punk in a few matches as he was the reason Punk lost in the Elimination Chamber. The biggest surprise of this match is that Reigns looks to be going into this fight alone, since Punk called in his favor to Paul Heyman and asked him to be in his corner. This match, I feel will be one of the most brutal matches of the night.

My Pick: CM Punk

WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium will take place on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.
