On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Okay, wrong movie, but it’s the right sentiment. Prime Video just unveiled a new look at its upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series.
The upcoming show stars Lexi Minetree as Elle Woods, the teen version of the character played by Reese Witherspoon in the original films. Now, fans have their first official look at Minetree in character. Check out the new image from Prime Video below.
The photo features a blonde Minetree wearing a pink hoodie and talking on a corded landline phone. (The phone cord and the bed behind her are also pink, naturally.)
Elle comes from showrunners Laura Kittrell and Caroline Dries. Film star and OG Elle Woods Witherspoon executive produces the series through Hello Sunshine. Amazon MGM Studios also produces.

Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity, in ways that only our beloved Elle could do. What could be better than that?!” Witherspoon said when the series was announced. “I’m extremely grateful to the incredible teams at Prime Video and Hello Sunshine – along with our amazing writer Laura Kittrell – for making this dream of mine come true. Legally Blonde is back!”
In addition to Minetree, Elle will star June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett as Elle’s parents. The cast also features Gabrielle Policano, Jacob Moskovitz, and Chandler Kinney. Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) will direct the first two episodes.
