The Lost showrunner Carlton Cuse and his son Nick Cuse are taking a journey in the world of Star Wars. According to Jeff Sneider and corroborated by THR, the screenwriting duo are in early development for a Star Wars series for Lucasfilm. Carlton’s credits include Bates Motel, The Strain, Jack Ryan, and Pulse. Nick worked on Watchmen and The Leftovers. What about the details of their Star Wars project?

Well, there are currently no details on anything about the series besides the work from Carlton and Nick Cuse. Star Wars fans just got several high-profile updates on movies and TV involved with the franchise at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan. Fans got news about the upcoming debut of Andor season two, tomorrow. There was also news about The Mandalorian & Grogu, the unveiling of Shawn Levy’s film, Star Wars: Starfighter. Finally, they showed off looks at Ahsoka season two and a new anime series featuring Darth Maul.

The Mandalorian was the first Disney+ series under that banner and since then, there have been several high-profile series that have expanded upon the universe like The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: Visions, The Acolyte, and Skeleton Crew.
