Netflix gave Fixed a first look and release date. Genndy Tartakovsky is back at it with an adult comedy. He brings a postal truckload of talent with him. Adam Devine, Idris Elba, Kathryn Hahn, Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett, Michelle Buteau, and River Gallo all star in the story of a dog facing a dire deadline.
Tartakovsky spoke to TUDUM about his love of animation like this. He thinks that Fixed has a visual style all its own. The director said, “I love caricatured and exaggerated animation, so I knew the sensibility that I like to do and it was a matter of dialing the amount of exaggeration.
Tartakovsky muses, “I think it started out as a rated-R Lady and the Tramp. Then, as we got into it it naturally became more cartoony and specific to itself. I would say it began to really take shape as we were fortunate to hire some of the best animators working in 2D from around the world.”
Fixed Gets Netflix First Look
Sony Pictures Animation produced the feature along with Netflix. Animation fans can look forward to seeing how Bull handles all these troubles on August 13. Check out the description down below!
