You’re invited to a beautiful island getaway for the most glamorous of social events… but beware: everything isn’t quite as it seems in paradise. Get a closer look at the upcoming feature Another Simple Favor in the trailer below.

The film serves as a sequel to the 2018 psychological thriller/dark comedy A Simple Favor. Original stars Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively return to see Stephanie and Emily navigate another dark and twisted tale.

Here’s the official synopsis of Another Simple Favor from Prime Video:

“Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.”

Paul Feig also returns to direct the feature, from a screenplay by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis. 

Besides Kendrick and Lively, the movie also stars Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, with Henry Golding, and Allison Janney.

In addition to the trailer released today, Prime Video also unveiled a new poster for the film. You can see that below.
