FEAR STREET: PROM QUEEN!

It’s prom season at Shadyside High, and the school’s group of popular “It Girls” are fiercely competing for the crown. But when the girls start disappearing one by one, an unlikely outsider finds herself facing a prom night more terrifying than she ever imagined.
The film stars India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor, Ariana Greenblatt, and Katherine Waterston. Directed by Matt Palmer, the film’s script is co-written by Palmer and Donald McLeary.
Fear Street began as a popular book series by R.L. Stine, known for its edgier, more mature tone compared to his Goosebumps books aimed at younger audiences. First published in 1989, Fear Street sold more than 80 million copies and spawned 51 books, with over 100 spinoffs to date.
Set in the fictional town of Shadyside, Fear Street is darker and more mature, following teenagers navigating sinister events and complex, often dangerous situations. Stine has often mentioned the importance of writing for older readers, noting how the 7-to-11 age group is the most enthusiastic audience before they “discover sex” and move on to more complex concerns.
With Prom Queen on the horizon, fans can expect even more thrills, chills, and bloody suspense as the Fear Street saga continues to captivate.
