Four episodes of “Side Quest” are now available to stream on Apple TV+. This is an anthology spin-off from the highly acclaimed series, “Mythic Quest,” which has wrapped up its fourth season. These four episodes look into the lives of some of the people impacted by the production of the games made at the video game studio.

With the release of “Side Quest”, I spoke with creators and executive producers Katie McElhenney, Ashly Burch, & John Howell Harris. They talk about when they decided to expand the “Mythic Quest” universe. As well as how they decided on the universal themes that would be included in each episode, and how they could be appreciated even if the viewer hadn’t watched the main show. ABOUT “SIDE QUEST”
As the upcoming fourth season of “Mythic Quest” reaches its finale, the much-anticipated anthology series, titled “Side Quest” (FKA “Mere Mortals”), will make its global debut on March 26 with all four episodes. An expansion of the “Mythic Quest” universe, “Side Quest” explores the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.
