Here at That Hashtag Show we love a good scream queen, and we were lucky enough to chat with Cassandra Potenza at the New York premiere of Clown in a Cornfield about how it felt to run around. We also got to chat with costar Ayo Solanke about whether or not he thinks he’d be able to survive in a slasher film. It was an appropriately spooky night, and the vibes were certainly out in full force!

About Clown in a Cornfield
In CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD, Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.
The film stars Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand. Eli Craig directs.
