It’s a little over halfway to Halloween, so what better time to release a movie about clowns? Clown in a Cornfield is a gory little thriller that fits perfectly in the early-summer lineup, and we were fortunate enough to be able to speak to stars Carson MacCormac and Vincent Muller, as well as author Adam Cesare, at the New York premiere of the film.
We spoke about seeing audience reactions, how it felt to jump feet-first into this as a first movie, and the best thing about adapting the story.

About Clown in a Cornfield
In CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD, Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.
The film stars Katie Douglas, Carson MacCormac, Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand. Eli Craig directs.
