“Summer Of Superman” Superman-Themed Variant Covers Revealed By DC

DC wants to celebrate the “Summer of Superman” with you. Today, DC revealed seven new variant covers that will celebrate the “Summer of Superman” stories. These covers and one more to be shown later will be released throughout summer, starting with Supergirl #1 on May 14.. You can check out the new covers and official details below.

DC Announces New Superman-Themed Variant Covers for Its “Summer of Superman” Comic Books

Today, leading into DC’s Superman Day celebrations on Friday April 18, DC announced a new series of cardstock variant covers for their “Summer of Superman” publishing initiative. Featuring an incredible lineup of artists, including Nicola Scott, Jim Lee, Dan Jurgens, Dan Mora, Jerry Ordway, Jorge Jiménez, Kevin Maguire, and Frank Quitely, DC’s new “Superman Movie” variant covers, celebrating the highly anticipated Superman movie from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, will publish between May and July beginning with Supergirl #1 on May 14.

Celebrate the Man of Steel on Superman Day, Friday April 18

In celebration of Superman Day on April 18 (the 1938 publication date for the iconic Action Comics #1), DC has curated an epically heroic and heartwarming list of titles featuring the Man of Steel.

Available at participating booksellers, mass market and online retailers:
