Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon is basically all set to make its NA theatrical debut in both the US and Canada. When will that be, you might ask? Well, this anime film recapping the events of the first season of Kaiju No. 8 will make that debut on a trio of dates on April 13, 14 and 16, 2025. The first of these dates is only nine days away from today as of this writing, so it won’t be long before you can watch both the recap film and the “Hoshina’s Day Off” OVA at the end, but likely mostly the latter. In fact, you can purchase tickets for the anime film right now from Fandango. The screenings will be in both Japanese audio with English subtitles, as well as in English dub for those who have trouble keeping up with the subtitles.
Thus, you can see why Crunchyroll would be so eager to promote that English dub. Fortunately, they have just done so with a brand new English dub trailer on YouTube, which you can check out below:
Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon Drops English Dub Trailer To Promote Impending Theatrical Debut
If you’re a fan of the English dub of Kaiju No. 8, then this trailer should be quite exciting for you. Not the recap part. If you’ve watched the anime, then you’ve heard that many, many times already. No, the excitement should be coming from hearing English dialogue for the “Hoshina’s Day Off” OVA. It is basically what fans are watching the recap film for, after all. I could be wrong. There might be some of you who are such big fans of Kaiju No. 8 that you’re willing to watch the recap parts too. But I think the majority of us are only here for that OVA, and fortunately, they do tease it a bit at the end.
What do you all think? Does this English dub trailer make you all excited for the OVA awaiting you at the end of Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon? Give us your opinions in the comments section below.
